I HAVE AIWAYS LIKED REAL MADRID-HAZARD

Eden Hazard has revealed he’s “always loved Real Madrid” as the Chelsea forward insisted he does not want to have any regrets at the end of his career amid mounting speculation.
Eden Hazard’s contract expires in 2020 and the Belgium international has been linked with a move to Champions League holders Madrid.
Chelsea manager Maurizio Sarri said contract talks were happening every week, however, Hazard claimed he is waiting on the Premier League club as the 27-year-old reaffirmed his admiration for Madrid.
“There was a bit of talk [with Chelsea] but then it stopped, now we’re waiting,” Hazard told RMC.
“You know me, I’ve always liked Real Madrid, even before Zidane. We’ll see what happens,” Hazard continued.
“Like I said, I’m finishing this year with Chelsea. I still have a year of contract. After this year, we’ll see.”
Hazard has starred this season with eight goals in all competitions for Chelsea, who stunned Premier League champions Manchester City last week.
“The new coach [Sarri] thinks about football like I do, so we’ll see,” Hazard added.
“The family is in London, I am going to be 28 years old. I don’t want to have any regrets at the end of my career.
“It is a decision I am going to make. I don’t know when, but I’ll take it.

Modric sends words to Ronaldo and messi

Modric sends another warning to Messi and Ronaldo, explaining what football really means. Not only has Luka Modric broken the Cristiano Ronaldo and Lionel Messi duopoly on the Ballon d’Or, but he has done it in a different position and through midfield excellence rather than the scoring of goals. The Croatian is pleased that his work in the centre of the pitch has been recognised and that the award wasn’t given out based on goal tallies.
“The journey has been very long and tough, but because of that I am even happier about all that is happening now,” he said in an interview with GQ Magazine. “All of the recognition, such as the FIFA World Player award or the Ballon d’Or, tastes better when you’re aware that nobody gifted you anything. “Nobody has gifted anything to me. “All that I have achieved has come through work. “It makes me happy that people have finally recognised all that I’ve achieved in my sporting career. “It is true that I have had to win a lot for this to happen, such as three Champions League title in a row and reaching the World Cup with a nation as small as Croatia, something that was unimaginable. “Only then have others realised that football isn’t just goals, goals and goals.” Luka Modric In November, Modric won the sportsman of the year award given out by GQ Magazine
