Oxford to hold out for Arsenal move

West Ham defender Reece Oxford will turn down a January move to Borussia Monchengladbach to see if Arsenal will make a bid in January, report the Mirror
The 20 year-old made his Premier League debut in a 2-0 win for the Hammers at the Emirates, but has featured only sparingly in the first team since.
And now the defender has rejected the chance to become the latest in a line of young English prospects to ply their trade in the Bundesliga in the hope of sealing a dream move to Arsenal.

Weah confirms Celtic switch

Timothy Weah has confirmed he is to leave PSG and join Celtic on loan, according to an Instagram post by the player.
The 20 year-old USA international will join up with the Hoops on their winter break in Dubai.
Celtic have previously done business with the French champions, after Odsonne Edouard made the switch from the Parc de Princes to Parkhead last season. 

Hazard pays tribute to departing Fabregas

Chelsea star Eden Hazard has paid tribute to his team-mate Cesc Fabregas, who is set to depart the club after four and a half seasons. 
The 31-year-old is closing in on a move to Monaco, where he will link up with manager Thierry Henry, a team-mate of Fabregas at Arsenal. 

Valverde open to January deals at Barca

Ernesto Valverde is open to the idea of Barcelona dipping back into the winter transfer market, but is not expecting much January movement at Camp Nou.

Richards completes Bayern move

FC Dallas have completed the sale of US youth international center back Chris Richards to Bayern Munich.
A $1.5 million fee has been agreed for the player who helped the US Under-20 national team to the Concacaf Championship title in November.
The 18 year-old spent the second half of 2018 on loan at the Bundesliga side, and has now made the move permanent after an impressive spell.

Manchester City will not be signing Jean Clair Todibo with the Toulouse defender close to agreeing terms with Barcelona, report the Independent. 
The Frenchman is one of the most highly rated defenders in Europe and City had hoped to swoop, but it is thought the influence of Barca's sporting director Eric Abidal has ultimately swayed him in favour of the Spanish champions.

Adam Lallana will not be allowed to leave Liverpool on loan this month, according to Sky Sports
The England midfielder has been recovering from a groin injury that has limited his game time this season, and Fenerbahce was cited as a possible destination.
But instead he will stay at the club and fight for his place during the title run-in.

Milan turn attentions to Tielemans after missing out on Cesc

AC Milan are hoping to land Youri Tielemans from Monaco after missing out on Cesc Fabregas, who is set to join the Belgian in Ligue 1, according to Gazzette Dello Sport.
With the Spanish midfielder, previously a major transfer target, on the verge of linking up with Thierry Henry, Milan have turned their attentions to Tielemans, whose first-time spot may be under threat if Fabregas arrives.
However, with Monaco still in the relegation places, Henry is unlikely to allow players of Tielemans' calibre to leave with the club in such a desperate position.

Fulham in hunt for Pjaca

Fulham are considering a move for Marko Pjaca if Juventus decide to cut short his loan spell at Fiorentina, according to Calciomercato.
The winger has notched just one goal in 16 appearances and his parent club are thinking of moving him on permanently.
Claudio Ranieri will hope to land the 23-year-old in a bid to boost his side's survival hopes.

McCormack returns to Motherwell on loan

Ross McCormack has returned to Motherwell on loan from Aston Villa until the end of the season, according to Motherwell's official website.

Ajax interested in Bayern starlet Shabani

Ajax are considering a move for 19-year-old Bayern Munich midfielder Meritan Shabani, according to Bild.
The Dutch side reportedly see him as a long-term successor to the highly-sought-after Frenkie De Jong, who has been the subject of intense speculation linking him with Barcelona, Manchester City and Paris Saint-Germain.
Shabani has typically played in a more advanced role than De Jong so far in his fledgling career, however, often playing as an attacking midfielder - although he has featured in a more traditional central midfield role - for Bayern's youth team.

Manchester City have inserted an anti-Manchester United clause into the deal selling Brahim Diaz to Real Madrid, according to the Independent.
A deal worth up to £22m (€24.6m/$28m) including add-ons to take the young Spaniard to Madrid is all-but agreed, including a 15% sell-on fee that rises to 40% if he is sold to another Manchester club.
Diaz, 19, had just six months left on his contract and manager Pep Guardiola has been unable to convince him to sign renewed terms.

Chelsea ready €50m bid for Barella

The Premier League side hope their huge offer will fend off Serie A opposition.
Chelsea are set to rival Inter and Napoli for the signature of highly-rated young midfielder Nicolo Barella from Cagliari.
The Blues are reportedly ready to launch a mammoth €50m (£44.8m/$57m) bid for the 21-year-old in an effort to beat out their opposition.
Barella has recently earned a call-up to the Italy national side and looks set to be prised away from Serie A by former Napoli manager Maurizio Sarri.

China beckons for Neres

Guangzhou Evergrande are hoping to land Ajax winger David Neres, according to De Telegraaf.
The Chinese Super League club are set to open with a bid of €30m (£26.9m/$34.2m), although Ajax are thought to be holding out for at least €40m (£35.8m/$45.6m).
The 21-year-old Brazilian would join several compatriots, including Paulinho, were he to move to Guangzhou. 

Morata wants Sevilla switch

Alvaro Morata is reportedly keen on a switch to Sevilla as he seeks to end his struggles at Chelsea, according to Mundo Deportivo.
The Spaniard has struggled despite a fast start to life at Stamford Bridge and is now looking to revive his fortunes back in his homeland.
However, Chelsea are not willing to sell unless they can purchase a replacement, or if they recall Michy Batshuayi from Valencia.

Celtic have signed Oliver Burke from West Brom on loan until the end of the season, subject to a medical, according to Celtic's official website.
The 21-year-old winger, who has five caps for Scotland, has made 21 appearances in all competitions for West Brom this season, scoring one goal in the Carabao Cup against Luton Town.
Brendan Rodgers will hope the acquisition of the youngster will boost his side as they look to hold off title challengers and bitter rivals Rangers, who are only second on goal-difference.

RB Leipzig are on the lookout for cover for attacking midfielder Emil Forsberg, according to Bild.
The 27-year-old has been sidelined with injury since the start of October and is a key player for the Bundesliga side.
Head coach Ralf Rangnick said: "It has to be a player who is able to play with us and help us within a week or two. But such players do not sit like birds on the pole."

Hannover are keen on a move for Hoffenheim midfielder Vincenzo Grifo, according to Bild.
The Italian, 25, has made just seven league appearances so far this season, scoring once and providing two assists - all three came in 4-1 win over Bayer Leverkusen.
After a strong spell at Freiburg, he joined Borussia Monchengladbach but failed to score in his 18 appearances there and moved to Hoffenheim for a new start. However, he is unhappy with his playing time and looks set to move again in an attempt to recapture his best form.

Sergej Milinkovic-Savic's agent has insisted that his client will not leave Lazio this window, according to his agent - former Chelsea striker Mateja Kezman.
The Serbian midfielder was heavily linked with the likes of Manchester United and Juventus in the summer, but remained in Rome with Lazio and has featured in 18 of the club's 19 Serie A games so far this season.
Inter and AC Milan had emerged as potential suitors, but it appears they will have to turn their attentions elsewhere.

Real Madrid are set to make a formal offer for River Plate starlet Exequiel Palacios, according to the player's agent.
The 20-year-old midfielder helped River to Copa Libertadores glory in December and has been linked with both Madrid and Barcelona since.
The Argentine club are unwilling to part with their prized youngster this month, however, and a summer switch is likely to suit all parties best.

Pochettino not expecting January arrivals

Tottenham boss Mauricio Pochettino has indicated that he does not expect any new recruits this window.
Spurs failed to make a senior signing in the summer after their pursuit of Aston Villa's Jack Grealish collapsed and are set to make it successive windows without a signing.
This news comes despite the fact that Son Heung-min is now on international duty with South Korea at the Asian Cup ahead of a crucial run of fixtures that include the Carabao Cup semi-final first leg against Chelsea and a league visit from Manchester United.

Despite having plenty of cover for first-choice shot-stopper Allan McGregor in the form of Wes Foderingham, Jan Alnwick and Robbie McCrorie, it is believed that Gerrard is a big admirer of the Pole's talents.
Grabara has not yet made his competitive Liverpool debut but he is highly-rated at Anfield, meaning the club are unlikely to sanction a permanent switch, but would likely allow him to leave on loan.

Saudi Arabian side Al-Hilal have made a €15 million (€13m/$17m) offer for Atalanta striker Papu Gomez, reports Calciomercato
Independiente are also interested in the Argentine, who has five goals and five assists in 18 appearances this season.
Atalanta boss Gian Piero Gasperini views Gomez as a hugely important part of his side, and does not want the 30-year-old to leave.

Manchester United caretaker manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer does not expect his team to make any signings in January. 
Solskjaer's predecessor Jose Mourinho was fired in part due to his complaints over United's lack of activity in the transfer market, but his replacement has said he's happy with his squad.

Cardiff City have made a £10 million (€11m/$13m) offer for Nice midfielder Adrien Tameze, according to the Daily Mail. 
The 24-year-old is also drawing interest from Atalanta and Watford, but Neil Warnock is hoping his side's bid will see them move to the front of the queue. 
Cardiff have also made an offer for Anderlecht forward Ivan Santini.

The Uruguayan centre-back will be out of a contract at the end of the season
Atletico Madrid centre-back Diego Godin is closing in on a move to Inter in the summer, reports Sky Italia. 
The 32-year-old will be out of contract at the end of the season, and is on the verge of signing a two-year deal with the Nerazzurri with an option for a third season.

Roma are making a list of several players to replace veteran midfielder Daniele de Rossi, according to Calciomercato
De Rossi, 35, faces an uncertain future with his contract expiring at the end of the season, and Roma are looking to bring in a replacement in January or in the summer. 
Three of Roma's biggest targets are Genk midfielder Sander Berge, Red Bull Salzburg midfielder Diadie Samassekou, and Borussia Dortmund's Julian Weigl.

Chelsea are nearing a deal to send Alvaro Morata to AC Milan on loan, with Gonzalo Higuain heading the other way, claims The Sun. 
Morata has struggled to live up to expectations at Stamford Bridge, with Chelsea boss Maurizio Sarri keen to be reunited with his former striker Higuain.

Southampton forward Manolo Gabbiadini could be set for a return to former club Sampdoria, according to Gianluca Di Marzio. 
Gabbiadini has been used sparingly this season, and Sampdoria are looking to sign him on loan with a €12 million (£11m/$14m) purchase option.
